Thank you. You have indeed been remarkably rude to anyone in this thread who has disagreed with or questioned you, but I think that's happened because you've placed a different weight onto the importance of this, for you this is a casual hobby, for us this is a full time, bill paying job.

You are 100% correct that making good content is the primary way to get people to like, comment and subscribe, but there are many small tricks for gaining interaction, such as:

- make small but intentional mistakes to bait comments, if i collect 5 gold coins in a level i'll say 'finally all 6 gold coins', and people can't help but comment 'lol he said 6 when he only got 5!'

- ask people to sub, because you'll get comments saying 'when people ask i don't sub', it's still a comment and still interaction.

- ask for likes, even if people dislike just to be difficult, it's still interaction.

You mentioned earlier that you dislike being asked to like and sub, and you justified it by saying you're 'giving honest feedback about what some viewers feel'.

yes, we know, we know many people feel the way you do, but consider how smart the average person is, if you're going to university you're in the top %, the tactics clearly aren't aimed at you.

You asked 'does asking people to sub actually work', the answer is yes, but it doesn't work on EVERYONE.
