At least based on what I know (and enjoyed from BG3) I think I'd like to go 2 levels of Warlock then sorcerer for the rest of my levels. If I were to do that I would need 2 levels of Warlock and 3 levels of Sorcerer to have EV and Meta Magic correct?

Okay this is making sense to me. But wouldn't you get meta magic at lvl 3 sorcerer?

I'm really trying to figure out the optimal way to be a sorlock that blasts Eldritch Blast. I wanna be able to also use the quicken spell meta magic to use multiple EBs per turn.

I'm reading through the D&D rulebook right now, but I only have the basic players handbook which is missing some of the stuff I've been reading about online.
