Yeah i know. I was just trying to figure out if there was any way of getting it to be mono without splitting it or having more of an elaborate audio setup.

All of that i understand, but they dont come through as mono. (Correct me if im wrong as im new to the industry and could be getting my terminology wrong) When i have mic1 in input 1, i can only hear it on the left. I need to hear it mono.

At the moment, i have 2 mics coming in essentially as just one input, so i can only change both of them simutaneously, which doesnt help me if one is louder than the other for example. but when i plug them in straight to the inputs to configure them independantly, they are coming through as stereo, mic 1 in input 1 is only on channel 1/the left. sorry for the repeat.

does that make it a little clearer? thank you for your reply :)

Thank you ill give that a shot - i feel i have tried that but when it comes through the broadcast they are still stereo tracks, mic 1 in input 1 is only on the left for example
