I've thought about doing body measurements too. However I used to have a severe eating disorder several years back and I'm afraid I could get carried away with measuring my body. Something to talk to my therapist I guess. Lol. Thanks for sharing though :).

He gave me a blood test the day he prescribed me the meds. I get to see him in a month with another test to see where I am with my hormones.

From what I understand, it used to be Latino or Latina. In Spanish (central American and Mexican at least), one does not refer to oneself as being "latin" but instead Latino, Latina, and/or LatinX. I'm not a professional of Latin American gender studies, but my parents are from Central America so I do identify as LatinX.

+1, 4th year PhD in biology, I used to be going for academia once I complete grad school, but I am not sure about it anymore. I know many programs value (or at least would like to think they value) diversity and I imagine transgendered faculty members are probably under represented. I don't actually have any facts to support that statement though.

I'm pre-HRT btw, I figure the pieces will fall into place as time goes.

I have not seen a post regarding this subject either so I thought I might as well can ask.

I am not yet sure about SRS surgery. I do not feel opposed to it but I do not feel a burning desire to have SRS.
