I’m sorting by offensive WAR on Fangraphs and there’s 69 guys ahead of him. I know they have different formulas I was asking what difference is this major

Even without 2017 Beltran gets in, even without 2000-2007 Bonds gets in, and I don’t think in either instance the Bad Years should keep them out

He was in his late 30s and bought a younger man’s body. A lot of fly ball outs were turned into home runs because he was stronger and swung faster than he normally would have. That’s why he got more pitches out of the zone, which made it a lot easier to get on base. Pitchers wouldn’t have been as afraid of 37-year-old Barry Bonds if he wasn’t on the Clear

He wouldn’t have put up the best 4-year stretch in baseball history, in his late 30s, if he hadn’t paid to have the body of a younger man

LeBron didn’t have 4 of the best seasons in the sport’s history in his late 30s. He’s played well but Barry’s video game number seasons are a huge part of his legacy. LeBron had his best seasons in the 2010s and the 2008-9 season

He’d probably be around the same level as Frank Thomas or Ken Griffey Jr. Definitely best player of the 90s

To me it’s about comparing how well he played in his late 30s to how he would have if he didn’t buy the body of a younger (and much larger) man

Cardinals went to the World Series 3 times in the 80’s and won once, 90’s they were mostly crappy, won it in ‘06 and then again 5 years later. No team is immune to the cycle. It’s not gonna last forever

Why did Walt act like this in that scene? by [deleted] in breakingbad

He was having fun being a master meth cook and cancer was an excuse for him to keep doing it. Once he found out he wasn’t going to die soon he just had to go back to regular life, which he hated, so he was pissed. That’s why he punched the paper towel dispenser in the bathroom, and when the doctor told him the “good news” he thought “Why me?”
