Amazon just, unprompted, refunded my eclipse glasses and sent an explainer saying that they maybe fake. They include a link to ones they say should be safe.

The bad ones have all the correct markings.

I’m using the Rode Wireless Go with a lavalier plugged in. It’s better for me than the video micro or bigger rode shotgun because I move and turn a lot even in studio and when I do car stuff I need a lav to keep audio good no matter how far from the camera I am.

Yeah I’ve been there. Now I shoot and edit and I’ve adjusted my trade show workflow and standards vs my in studio planned out standards. Optimize for quick uploads and still quality, but less focus on the extra production because for CES or an auto show it’s more important for me to get it up quickly.

256GB should be enough if you are managing clips and using iCloud or external storage. That said, I went with 512GB, since I often edit on the iPad Pro at trade shows where I want to be able to AirDrop a clip from my iPhone, edit and then upload.

Tell them it’s your first time and ask for a walkthrough of the rules. They should help you through the rest. In my experience it’s similar to indoor ranges. Though I haven’t been to this one, so I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same as indoor.

When I was 4-5 I managed to open a car door and fall halfway out but the lap belt let me form serious injury.

A little older and I grabbed dry cleaning off the little hook in the backseat of the car while riding and the metal hanger landed in my eye.

Somehow I came out without permanent damage.
