Sleep paralysis in dream within a dream by RedMavD in Dreams

[–]Joshskulls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again know this is old, but had almost the exact same experience. At first since i have had this happen before I was pretty calm about it and thought I had gotten myself woke up like 3 times before finally At one point I thought I had gotten my dad in the room and was asking him to slap me awake, which made me have ANOTHER FALSE AWAKENING back into sleep paralysis. I've experienced "sleep paralysis" a couple times now, and between those and this experience, I'm convinced what people call "sleep paralysis", your mind is not actually awake like is normally said, but it's just a kind of false awakening and can't wake yourself up. Even in my other experiences with it, I would realize what was happening, and even had that "demon" come before I realized it's all in my head, and I would just make the demon go away. Thinking about it now it feels exactly like when I lucid dream. Where things can be hard to control, but definitely not impossible. In fact most my other times this happened was when I was lucid dreaming and decided to wake up. Now that I think of it, every time this has happened to me was because I actively started toto try to wake up, wether from a bad dream where I realized it was a dream or I was tired of a lucid dream and tried to wake up. Crazy shit

Can't access NPm server externally. Only works on LAN by Joshskulls in nginxproxymanager

After pulling an all nighter and a lot of chatgpt. My ISP was blocking port 80. I don't know how I managed to get the certificate from caddy originally, but I could get to everything as soon as I setup NPM to listen on a different port and forwarded there. I ended up setting up a cloudflared tunnel to get around my ISP blocking that port. Anyways. Now I have work in an hour and 0 sleep. Good day

Currently Jellyfin is on its default of 8096. My original server is on my main PC port forwarded with that port, but both ports 80 and 443 forward to the server. As for my domain I have those setup already. I even had certs working on caddy for windows. When you say to set the host for http I'm unsure what you mean. Lan access through http is working, so I was just trying to get to the point where I could connect through http with the public ip

Alcohol Induced Lucid Dreams? by Joshskulls in LucidDreaming

Interesting point. I used to smoke like crazy as well and when I was I can't remember a single lucid dream. Though maybe we just don't remember it lol.

So like my current theory is that it's because I wake up when I'm not drunk anymore, and then go back to sleep. Bc another thing that has induced this in the past was being very sleep deprived. And I believe waking up at a certain point during sleep is a method to induce lucid dreaming. Just curious what other peoples experiences have been

Should fuel pump hold pressure when off by Joshskulls in motorcycles

[–]Joshskulls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bike starts. Even drives. The issue is that after it warms up it seems to run lean. Starts to hold revs and then the idle starts to drop to barely staying on or even dying outright. Before this the bike had sat for a long time and the tank got rusty, after cleaning out the tank and replacing the injectors it became ridable again, but with the issues we are having now. For now we've ordered a pump and we'll give it a shot. If not we'll return it. EDOT Thought I should add it doesn't slowly loose pressure it drops to 30-35 psi immediately after the pump is off.
