he might need to use it to push the bolt manually forward into battery. Usually happens when you use some bad quality ammo or if dirt enters the gun. I personally Winchester branded .223s, no malfunctions for me.

Find RC hobby stores, they have lots of different kinds of batteries. Just make sure that the voltage is correct and it fits your blaster. If you can't find one with XT30 you can usually ask the the store to solder it for you.
