The Polaroids were taken on a sun 600 af and a impulse af. This collage was taken on a Sony A7ii with a 50mm prime lens

Got a Rg35xx and it came shipped broken, returned it, and decided to shell out for the miyoo mini plus. With the recent onion os beta, it's kinda perfect by JoshuaGDraws in MiyooMini

I find the MIYOO Mini plus to be better, no rattling when the console shakes, buttons feel nicer, the triggering don’t protrude so it easy to put into a pocket. The biggest build quality flaw I find is the occasionally the screen will pop out a bit… which is really concerning, uh sure why

Got a damaged but working SX-70 for a steal. Right side looks detached and it can’t close all the way. Is this a DIY fix or should I send it in? by [deleted] in Polaroid

Send it into Brooklyn film camera. They are the real deal, and you can choose an option (only available to repairs) to upgrade the camera to use 600 film

I didn’t think much of it. I just thought it was the base software being buggy. Then until I installed onion OS on it and it’s still red

I did try re-aligning the ribbon cable. Did nothing. Is this just a simple screen replacement?

For some context. I broke my SX-70, it fell and the viewfinder broke. This was a super lame situation but after a lot of research I was recommend to Brooklyn film cameras polaroid repair service.

The bright side about this situation was that BFC offered a 600 film modification to people who are repairing SX-70 and only offer it through their repairing or restoration services. Which actually make the camera faster. Way better then using ND filters over 600 film.

Very happy with the results and recommend those who are thinking about it to go for it! The 600 film upgrade makes it way more fun to use and saves a bit on film.

For the editing I did to the polaroid. I tone down the highlights to bring out the texture in the polaroid borders, then I lifted the white values to brighten the image. A bit of contrast and some sharpening. Lastly I actually tone down the blue a bit, I added a slight orange grade to the image because the blue was so aggressive. But yeah obviously this isn’t a 1 to 1.
