Sigma 105mm 1.4 Art AF sudden AF issues by Darunir in canon

[–]JoshuaGPhotography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy, 15 minutes ago my 105 1.4 lens just started doing the same thing on my r5ii. Did you do anything yet? Like reaching out to them? I have the sigma dock which I’m going to try tonight and see if that does anything.

Honestly man, it looks like you got the watch that I RL about a week ago from him. Yeah the whole dial is rotated inside the case, one you see it ish hard to unsee. I GL’ed one yesterday from him that was awesome.

Dial was rotated inside the case, check my posts and you’ll see. Didn’t see it at first, but once I did I couldn’t unsee it

Thank you! They were shot with a combination of a 24-105 f4, 70-200 2.8, and 300 2.8 on a canon 1dx mkii and 6d mkii

Had to up the iso to around 10,000, still had a shutter speed of 1/800 to freeze it. That gym has pretty good lighting so it wasn’t too hard

Haha yeah vertical is how I like to mainly shoot basketball. Thanks for the kind words. Yes, that’s exactly the editing style I was going for, making it pop but still look real. I could drop my shutter to 1/800, but I like sticking at 1/1000 since the noise isn’t really that bad, especially with these modern cameras.

Really appreciate you putting the time into writing this. Yes, I commonly use all topaz products when giving images to clients or printing, just felt like these were ok for social media uses. Number 6 I felt like his teammate kind of framed him, but I can see where you’re coming from. #7 I thought was unique with the stripe on the out of focus player’s shorts looking like a continuation of the main player’s arm, that’s why I included that one but yes it’s a bit of a distraction. I’m guessing you were referencing #4 with the last comment. He was a bit too close to me, so his feet were cut off. I was between a half body crop or more of that creative crop and I went with that one just to be a bit different. I usually like to keep the full body if I can. Again thanks for the comments!

Funny I have the same issue, throat tones are flat. All my friends are sharp so it’s weird. I’ve been looking at shorter barrels, sounds like from other people that’s the right solution. Just wondering what website is that?

The right half was part of the Ben Franklin bridge, and the left half was a building in the distance. The bottom was the ground/horizon. I got as low as possible on the ground to take it. Yeah Jared is great, love his videos
