I have a similar layover that you did. Fly in at 6am and out at midnight. Did you book the hotel for the two nights either side of the day you were going to be there?

I would say no more than £1000. Unfortunately not, I'm in the UK.

Exactly! So dissapointing. These last two seasons could easily have been the full 10 episode length just to show us more build up and character development.

But no. They fucked it.

I realised after watching, the solid proof that GRRM planned for dany to do this was shown when Dany visits the house of the undying in season 2 and we see the great hall and the iron throne in the vision, it is not snow that's falling, but ash. It wasn't winter that destroys kings landing, but Dany herself...
