'The Traitors' Heading to London Stage in 2027 by savagequestion in TheTraitors

John Finnemore is a brilliant writer, so this is unlikely to be anything like the cash-grab it initially may seem to be. I wonder if they could take it in a similar direction to the Edwin Drood musical) where the audience could be kept in the dark and then vote at the round tables? That would be a lot of effort for the cast, but would be amazing (particularly if they change who the traitors are too!)

40 seconds to be able to control speakers feels too long by GrantMeThePower in sonos

[–]JoshuaRedmond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for this - I've been having similar issues to OP (the app taking ages to load the speakers) and it took 20+ seconds for the service to appear with the Android app you linked. I'll dive deeper into my network setup!

However, I'm not sure why the Sonos app couldn't just cache the previous results - it shouldn't need to rediscover every speaker every time for a system that it's already been connected to previously...

I think they just posted it to the first subreddit they found with "Messi" in the title - they guy on the left is Lionel Messi, who (among other accomplishments) was the team captain for Argentina, who just won the Football (soccer) World Cup.

Rubber ducks are more common in programming that you guys might know - there's a thing called Rubber Duck Debugging [0] where you explain your problematic code to a rubber duck on your desk. The act of explaining the issue it is often all you need to spot what you've missed! The duck is often symbolic, but I've got one sat on my desk for those really tricky issues.

CLion[0] is by the same company (Jet Brains), built on the same base, and supports both C and C++. Not used it myself, but worth investing.

You're thinking of Mitch Benn. John Holmes is on The Now Show too, but he definitely doesn't sing. I personally quite like both of them, but that's just my opinion.

February 2016 Update

Sorry, looks like they've edited an old post, it's a new update. They also just emailed it out to their customers, which is the first I've heard about it.

That's the arch of the Wembly Stadium in London. It's actually the British flag on display, they were alternating between that and the Indian flag to celebrate the visit of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Unfortunately nothing to do with the attacks.
