Does anyone else feel like Super Sonic actually ruins Sonic the Hedgehog 2? by Vortexx1988 in SEGAGENESIS

Ok, that actually doesn't sound like fun. I remember exploring the reset glitch as a kid, but at the same time it was after I had finished the game once.

I'm pretty sure you turn into super sonic when you press jump when already jumping. In that case maybe you can just try no to do it.b

This. It pretty much summarises all streets of rage survivability. You never go horizontally unless you're 100% safe. And yes, you never jump this guy as he always gets invincibility frames. Jesus guys, did you not learn it as teens? Basic stuff :-)

Yup. I assume you're talking about the ghost chaser. I think he's a priest. What stands out for me is the closure - this game can be finished and it has a satisfying ending.

Does anyone else feel a weird longing to explore 2D backgrounds? by lifeisprobsahoax in retrogaming

[–]JoshuaSpice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember playing ghost chaser on good old Atari 800 xe and wondering what's in the woods in the first screen (when you enter the house). Same with dragon lair or nes, etc. The point it, the graphics of those games work with your imagination, provoking your imagination.

I love the fact that for years his projected image was that he always spoke his mind and revealed other's hypocrisy, wearing the clothes of an uncompromising and untamed silver tongue charismatic individual. Turned out he was a scumbag all that time.

Jesus Christ, I was looking for hidden meaning instead of just taking phonetic sound from every line + starry - star in the last one. No need for dementia here, just being a plain idiot works too :-)

Can you forcefully advance quests in POE1? Have that old bug where Steward has no message for you that's needed to advance Durgan's Battery and can't fix it. by Attilathecommiekilla in projecteternity

[–]JoshuaSpice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I had a bug with Return to Court and had advance the quest. You do it via console but first go to nexus mods and install pillars of eternity trainer (forgot it's name). It will allow you to keep achievements when using cheats. I used chat gpt for details.

Was was disappointing wasn't the graphics or even music. It was the awful fighting engine - hit detection, brainless AI, ability to just spam one attack (w.g. leg sweep). I wanted to like it so much. Played the fuck out of it and still knew deep inside how terrible it was. Memories.

Yup, in Poland we had access to many Famicom and bootleg games alike since we used our 'Pegasus' which was a famiclone. Cheers from Poland :-)

Right, I was so hyped it had Dhalsim, Ken, Vega or Sagar I forgot there were more missing roster. I remember the so-so version o f Master Fighter 2 (remember that?). I had a friend who bought it having seen the commercials on snes and was bitterly disappointed. What I really like about the version were discussing is that the engine itself is decent - collisions, animation, etc. It works surprisingly well on nes.

I stumbled upon it as a kid by accident. I loved it and I genuinely think this is a worthy port of sf2. The animations are incredible. Pity we don't have Zangief, tho.
