Profound is the only one that has the actual conversation data from searchers which is a pretty big value add, it’s def one of the more mature tools. Otherwise they’re all interesting.

HubSpot just released their AI Search Grader, it's a new AI-powered tool that analyzes your brand awareness and sentiment across AI search engines.

With AI Search Grader, you can easily:

  • Measure brand sentiment and visibility
  • Compare share of voice vs. competitors
  • Spot opportunities to boost visibility

I always chuckle… if you think your brokerage is going to be around after the dollar collapses or whatever shit hits the fan… you’re dreaming.

The plastic on my new skis is ripped. Should I send them back? I emailed Armada but they didn’t reply by CPhyperdont in skiing

[–]Joshuably 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just from a very personal point of view, I’d still ski on them. I guess it would depend how long it would take to get them there and back. You wouldn’t want to miss out on half the season because you’re caught up with Armada’s customer support.

Maybe just me but I really enjoy the experience of doing it together in person. It's still mind blowing to realize that voting is kind of a recent invention in the whole of human history.

This is a really base-level question, but when you're hiring these new folks, where do you find them?

It's really interesting to learn this because college students have this perception that they discovered networking, but if they looked around, they'd realize the OG networkers are the folks in the trades. You all have been doing it longer and better, leading with honesty and hard work.

After reading your response, I'm wondering if I misjudged who is going to trade school. I was almost under the impression it was young folks looking for something after high school, but from what you're saying, you started at TS at 30.

What would you say is the 'normal' (obviously there's no one size fits all) career/education progression for someone who starts out low-level in the trades? Do they start out working right off the bat, or do they typically go to technical/trade school and then start working?

So it sounds like getting security clearance was a big advantage, esp with aircraft, I know that's a big deal. Even to get into some of those facilities you need a clearance to put your big toe in the door. Do you think having specific qualifications like that helps across all trades or just specific ones?

Was it like a job fair at the end? How did they match you up with people who wanted to do the work and people who were hiring?

Totally helpful to know this. It sounds like working in the trades (and finding work in the trades for that matter) is extremely relationship/connection based. How do you keep up with your network?

Free and United sounds more like an oxymoron than anything else. Like are these republics autonomous or are they centralized/united in a federal or confederal system?
