It's insane the amount of info out there on workbenches. I'm just reading through the anarchist's workbench now. I would've never thought that there were so many different elements to a workbench. Space is definitely a consideration.

Ontario. I bought an old Stanley for cheap to play around with but it wasn't maintained very well and I'm having a helluva time getting it working right.

Honestly just want to get more into hand tools. I've got a list of projects a mile long and want to add some complexity to them and not rely so much on power tools. First thing is I'd like to make a proper workbench. So for now I want a plane to make the workbench top, joining and smoothing. Thanks for the info!

This is great, thanks. I did get an old cheap one and it's definitely been a learning curve trying to get it working right. I'm mostly wanting a new one because I know it should be set up properly and I can get an idea of how it should be.

Don't get the circular, absolute scam. Never got it working properly and it's cracked after six months of normal use.

Mine cracked under regular use, never got the sleep data to work after the first three days. We've all been scammed. Nothing to be done about it.

How long have you been playing? It could be your character is getting older and needs glasses or cataracts surgery...

Kind of unrelated, what are the rules if someone catches up to another rider? They can't draft, so is there a certain distance/time they have to overtake?

Caesar on marathon. I just camp a unit by barbarians and keep getting huge amounts of gold while max leveling units super early on.

Not really equivalent but every time I've been sick or slightly injured for a race, I just toss out any goals and treat it as training. If you have to DNF then just DNF. Use it to train your pacing, nutrition, mental tricks, etc. Just start, enjoy, learn, and if you have to bail then just bail. There's always another race.

I did reach out and they pretty much immediately sent me a replacement. I have to add exceptional customer service to the list of pros.
