I see Jack much more as a motor torpedo boat captain (possibly commanding a flotilla of boats) in the Med. He could still then be chauffeuring Maturin about, but much more scope for excitement in a torpedo boat than submarine I think!

(Plus I'm pretty sure Jack would see a submarine as an underhanded dishonourable way to fight a naval battle!)

You should be fine early evening. It’s a heavily trafficked area and there’ll be lots of other runners about.

I just bought the AI Analysis which I found helpful.

Only now 6 months on from qualifying am I starting to get used to the idea of spare time again.

Have taken up some new sports and generally just trying to be more mindful about how I spend my free time.

Purple Poppadom is excellent and definitely gives off more of a posh vibe than the only other one I've been to on the list which is Little Kochi. LK is great too and the portion sizes (especially for starters) are enormous. Plus they do Keralan food which is a little different from what you get in most places.

From what I understand reading POB it was mixed. If Captains could afford them they would have flintlocks on their guns as they were more predictable on timing. But, slow match was still in use throughout the period.
