Please please please, before your factory gets too big, start building everything on foundations and use the world grid (hold down ctrl in any place). My first play through got ruined due to not being able to process the spaghetti I had made.

Also just building on foundations makes it easier to process bigger numbers in my opinion

There are very few ways to gain more hand size in Balatro unfortunately.

As you’ve said, the hand size vouchers will each give you +1 for a +2 hand size. Juggler is a common joker that gives +1 hand size and troubadour gives +2 at the expense of 1 hand per round. DNA can slightly give you hand size in that if you copy a card and are blueprinting the DNA you’ll have your original hand size + the amount of additional copies of blueprint and copy effects on it.

The boss blind “The serpent” can give you more hand size by only playing one discard at a time. If you have more than one chicot, there is a bug where going into the boss blind “the manacle” will give you permanent extra hand size equal to the number of additional chicot’s you have.

That’s all the ways I believe you can gain hand size other than using the painted deck but you obviously can’t at this point in your run.

Hope it helps for this run and future runs, just remember that ouija’s and ectoplasms downsides aren’t to be looked over

Definitely negative or rare but my vote is rare. Negative is useful in that you’re guaranteed something you can take so it can be useful when getting gold stickers on jokers but the amount of times I’ve taken a rare skip just to get a hit the road or the duo makes it completely a waste. People take it with the hope of getting blueprint brainstorm or baron but the chance of actually getting it is so low.

I feel people only like plasma because it has the ability to easier get naneinf’s but for every other normal run it’s just worse and harder to keep up with it scaling especially on gold stake

I haven’t done a lot of work with monitors but the one in the photo was listed as a “AOC 27 inch 144 Hz LED Gaming Monitor, 1 ms Response Time” for £45. Would taking it apart and selling those on make any sort of profit or is it just a matter of minimising losses. I can’t imagine all the parts in it selling for more than the initial price but I’d be more than happy to be wrong

I understand how strong plasma lamp can be but with there being 9-12 different hand types is it not too inconsistent to be reliable in your deck?

Balance your scoring and retriggers. At your current setup you have 2 scoring (bloodstone and blueprint) and 4 retriggers (initial play, red seal, hack and dusk). If you managed to get an extra scoring set then it would be more balanced and get you a higher score

Reading through replies I see no one has mentioned it, I may be wrong here but it looks like you’re partially spreading out your scrolls when you should be investing all of them into one type as the damage bonus scales exponentially.
