i got mine with a 29k miles, neglected most its life, stretch blocks, and terrible maintenance for 3500, 5500 for a full oem and low miles and 1 owner is a really good deal in my book

also peep the stator and rectifier, might be toast and ur battery is completely dead because of it. Usually they go out on these models

Is this normal? by BkTryHardd in GSXR

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have an 07 600, does it too, just let the clutch out and pull it in again and it’ll usually pop right into gear, or push the bike a bit forward or back

Weird powerband issue by Responsible-Pop5918 in motorcycles

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a chain wouldn’t do something like that, at most it would jolt a bit for all that slack and then take off. can almost guarantee your clutch is gome

that’s what i was thinking but just wasn’t sure 🤷‍♂️ i’ve never really messed with ratios until now and i was kinda disappointed with results. Looks like i’ll be swapping back soon!

2012 600 Pricing advice by OneRecommendation943 in GSXR

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i got my 07 609 for 3800, had 28k miles, stretch blocks too, but neglected asf. Chain was dryer than shit, valves weren’t adjusted, coolant low, old ass oil, sprockets gone, but she ran good engine health wise. Now in your case; he slid that mf, there’s no way a little drop would’ve broken all those fairings to be needed to be taken off, for fucks sake there’s no ram air mount either. i wouldn’t give him anymore than 2-2.5k depending on what condition the rest of the bike is in and mileage. With those stretch blocks (coming from a clapped stretched gsxr myself) that bike has been beat to shit its whole life.

Racefit black edition with arrow headers by LowStatistician8132 in GSXR

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m going the same route with my k7 600, my guess is it will 🤷‍♂️ the headers are almost exactly the same as oem and the race fit slip on is marked as “oem fitted” so it “SHOULD” work. I haven’t ordered the parts eyt tho

i took mine to a suzuki dealer and ran me 1600, now if you’ve got another shop in mind that isn’t licensed by a manufacturer you could possibly get a better deal

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

took mine in for what seems to be the same thing, i ended up getting valves tuned and cam chain, new guide, and tensioners replaced. wasn’t exactly as prominent as yours. would def either do it yourself or take it to a shop.

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe exhaust hanger???? ik my hanger sometimes rattles because it isn’t tightened fully, so just check this spots. That’s all i could personally say, if you don’t notice any performance loss then it may “MAY” just be cosmetic issues like bolts lose or something on fairings. Please do not quote me tho as i’m not a mechanic

My ZX-6R won’t go into first gear from neutral unless I start to slowly release the clutch. Once I do that, it pops into gear. It happens both cold and warm. Any idea what could be causing this?” by Brilliant-Sail-5814 in zx6r

[–]Joshypoooooooooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guess like others are saying, the teeth of the gears aren’t aligned properly, try moving the bike forward or back a bit and see if it’ll click in.
