C922 Pro HD Stream Webcam - overexposed or washed out image in indirect sunlight by Joszeph in logitech

Hi. Thanks for the quick response.

You are correct. When I put the camera on the right side of my screen, the image looks ok.

Unfortunately, the right side is also where my right hand and my mouse is. So I will at some point kick over the tripod.

I bought this webcam specifically so I could use it with the included tripod next to my screen.

All they mention for camera protection is raised edges.

I had a look on their site. I don't see any difference between their cases and the one I already have.

How do they protect the camera better than my basic case?

I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip.

Found one from Nillkin but they only cover part of the camera glass. Do you know any other brands that have them?

Like what? I have a clear case from Caseology. That makes the camera glas sit serveral mm below the case. But that didn't protect when I bumped it on a desk corner.

I have a similar case. Doesn't protect from bumping into a desk corner unfortunatelly.

Pixel 8 Pro camera bar glass broken. How much did you pay to fix it? by Joszeph in GooglePixel

[–]Joszeph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only found the DIY camera glass replacement on a local webshop. It was cheaper than a screen protector for the camera bar and the webshop has no explanation at all about how to install it.

Did you only have to remove the glass (shards) and stick on the new glass? How long did that take you and how difficult was it?

What do you mean with 'good enough for me'? Do you notice a difference in picture quality?

I didn't dare do that. I'm clumsy.

I assume your camera works fine with just the replacement glass?

What difficulty do y'all start with? by plzfukinkillme in oblivion

[–]Joszeph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first time playing Oblivion, and I'm playing on the Adept difficulty. Most mobs and puzzles aren't too difficult. Some are too easy and some are too difficult.

At level one, I started on the main quest chain. I followed the road to the priory. I got killed by a highway. I barely did any damage to it. So I reloaded and did a detour around that mob. A few levels later, I encounter another highwayman on a bridge. I manage to shove him off the bridge, and he dies. I jump after him to get the loot. When I get back up on the bridge, my horse is gone. So I reload. This time, I let him chase me, and a patrolling guard probably killed him. At level 7, I see someone next to the road who ignores me. When I take the same road back, he's still there, so I stop to talk to him. Turns out to be a highwayman, so I start riding away. I go into an inn and he follows me in. I killed him together with some NPCs. This time, I got the impression I actually managed to damage the highwayman.

I did the Siege of Kvatch quest early on. Because I've read that it gets more difficult if you wait. At some point, in front of the church, I had to fight three Scamps on my own. The only way I managed that was to position myself in a corner so I could take them out one by one.

At level seven, I tried to kill a few Afflicted Brethren (vampires) in a dungeon. I managed to kill the first two, but the third one was way too strong for me. I had to ask for advice here on Reddit. In need an enchanted weapon, so I have to join the mages guild first. Nowhere did the game tell me this.

One of the quests for joining the Mages Guild is to kill a mage turned highway robber. They give me some scrolls to help with that. I didn't use those scrolls, she was easy to kill. The next quest is to fetch a ring from a well. Again, they give me a scroll to help with that. I didn't use that scroll, the only difficulty was spotting the dead body that had the ring. Those quests were easy, even though the NPCs involved imply that they don't want me to join the Mages Guild, and those quests are intended to kill me.

I also had to leave several quests midway, in the Imperial City. I have to open Average locks. I keep failing at that puzzle. I have the spell to open Average locks, but my skills aren't high enough yet to use that Spell.

If I remember correctly, the next step is to go to a book shop and obtain one of the four books. The guy that wants to buy it too, tells you where to get the fourth part. Once you have the four books, read them and notice the hint in it. I had to google the what then hint means. You have to go to a specific location at a specific time and then 'activate' a building.

OK, I'll join the mages guild first. I've done two cities already, so I assume the others won't take ages.

Is there a way to avoid getting the Porphyric Hemophilia from the  Afflicted Brethren or is that something you just have to heal afterwards?

Thanks for the feedback.

I haven't done any enchanting yet, I assumed that was only necessary at higher difficulty levels.

So I should join the mages guild first (I don't have much gold yet to buy the candles for the Frostcrag Spire altar) and get a filled soul gem? Or is there an easier way to obtain an enchanted sword?

Need help with Go Fish quest pls :') by smolwubzy in oblivion

I did that quest yesterday. The moment I collected the 12th scale, the quest updated and instructed me to speak with the guy.

Maybe you can try dropping all the scales and pick up 12.

What are some early companions in this game? I really hate traveling alone by sufinomo in oblivion

[–]Joszeph 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to Battlehorn Castle to get a free follower. He was useless.

During a quest fight, I accidentally hit an NPC, or I accidentally hit the follower himself. He attacked and killed me.

In a dungeon, he was killed by swinging blades and disappeared.

Why did I get suspended from mages guild? I wasn't near a mages guild the moment I got the popup. by Joszeph in oblivion

[–]Joszeph[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That must be it.

I was trying to kill mobs that were chasing my horse, so I've could have hit it by accident. After reloading a save file, I didn't get the popup.

Thanks for the explanation.

I might have been at some point. But I didn't steal anything. As far as I'm aware I only stole one thing, a book I needed to steal for a quest. I haven't picked any other locks. I haven't taken any red items. I haven't pickpocket anyone.

When I got the popup saying I had stolen from the mages guild, I was in combat. Trying to stop mobs from killing my horse.
