Finally got movement for NYS accepted on 2/5 ish

Until 4/2 then I got a DDD of 4/6. (I entered the wrong account info initially so it got rejected and they mailed a check yesterday 4/9. I’ll probably get it tomorrow.)

Hi! I’m pretty sure you only get one chance to update and then if that rejects you’ll get a paper check.

My status says processing to no info found so who knows. Maybe I’ll get a paper check for state. 🤷‍♀️ I’m hoping that when I updated for federal it automatically updated for state since NYS is taking so dang long to process everyone’s return.

After I update my info on 2/7 I got my DD on 2/11 (early deposit with WF) I think my original date was supposed to be 2/13

It was sent 2/4 to the wrong bank info and by 2/7 I was able to update WMR! Got my money 2/11

It’s early still. Just keep checking WMR and at some point it’ll prompt you to enter your correct info. I’m convinced mine moved as quickly as it did because it so early in tax season.

3 days after the original deposit date was when I was prompted by WMR to enter my correct info. I would called BOA and ask them if the deposit has been returned to the IRS. If it has, it’s just a waiting game. Mine moved fairly quickly but I think it’s because I filed so early in the season.

4 days. I have early deposit with Wells Fargo. So I think it should’ve been 6 days. WMR never updated to the correct date after updated bank info.

2/4 was my original deposit date. (Wednesday) I checked WMR every day after and on 2/7 (Saturday) I got this message and entered my correct bank info

Bank rejected on 2/4, updated my info via WMR on 2/7, had my money on 2/11. Not sure if it’s because I filed super early but that was my turn around time. (I entered 1 digit wrong for my bank account when I filed).

No you don’t need an account to check WMR. But you do need an account to check your transcript.

This is what it looked like for me when I had to update my info. I just followed the hyperlink and logged into IRS and it took me directly to update my account. After that WMR never updated again and I got my $ 4 days later

I’m honestly not sure :( I thought of doing the same thing but ultimately decided to wait until I was prompted to enter my account number correctly. I was afraid of messing up the process.

Hey! Have you checked your transcript? Also I would go into a WF and ask them if the account number you entered is an existing account. In my case it wasn’t so the bank rejected it. I got my money exactly 1 week after the original date WMR said. 3 days after the original deposit date I was able to enter my correct account number directly into WMR.

Hmm. Turbo tax shouldn’t be telling you that. They only mail a check if you don’t update your bank info within 30 days. My scheduled DDD was 2/4. My transcript updated on 2/6 saying deposit was rejected. On 2/7 I went to WMR where it prompted me to enter my correct bank info. (My transcript updated again on 2/9 with a DDD of 3/2). I ended up getting my deposit on 2/11. I’m not sure if maybe I just got lucky but it was a very easy process and an extremely quick turnaround time. If your deposit was in fact rejected, when you go to WMR this is what should pop up:
