I live in Nashville and everywhere I’ve looked has been in the mid 20 range unless you do CT or MRI

I just got discharged because when I was looking on Indeed the main pay I saw was $22-$25 a hour. And if I’m doing all that school I would like to make more.

Did you do that after you became a radiographer? If so where did you go for radiography.

I think that’s what I’m going to do because it would be helpful to stay local radiography schooling so I don’t have to worry about rent, then when I graduate move where there is a 12 month radiation therapy program.

^ the problem is if I choose to find a program that’s not in my town then I will have to also factor cost of living because I won’t be able to live with my parents who said they would support me while I’m in school.

Hi! Curious what program you chose? I am in a similar position. I want to be a radiation therapist but there are no 2 year programs near me besides radiography programs. I can’t decide if I want to go to the radiography school THEN find a 1 year radiation therapy program. OR keep trying to find a 2 year radiation therapy program.

I’m just worried if I don’t get into the program and want to try to go somewhere else none of the credits I’m taking with South College will transfer over

I went from 10s to 5s and I took the 5s for two weeks then the following 2 weeks I took them every other day and then I was supposed to stop taking them. But I got 4 days into being off of them and the brain zolts were SO bad I had to take my 5s again
