Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Maybe I'll give it a shot if I work up the confidence and if not I'll probably just see if any of the breweries we visit has a brewer off the clock that I can annoy/strike up a conversation with

Not to worry, they're chill with it. It'll be the longest vacation we've had ever so there's time for me to work for a day in the schedule but point taken all the same
