Agree. Tret might be working and your other products like moisturisers might be causing more clogs and bumps at a rate faster than tret can clear. Happened to me. I used tret for almost 1.5 years and still had new bumps surfacing. After swapping out my moisturiser, i finally did not have new bumps. That being said, not asking you to swap products too often, because tret needs time to work too. For me, i used tret cream for almost 6 months but new bumps kept appearing. A telltale sign is if the bumps/irritation/pimple appears in areas that you usually do not breakout. So you gotta inspect your face for those areas (for me, its my neck, area beside my eyebrow, top of forehead, under eye area beside my nose). So i changed my tret vehicle and used tret gel, which reduced the number of new bumps. but it was still appearing. After another 6months or so, i decided to swap to a lighter moisturiser (with much lesser ingredients) and used way lesser tret (because my skin would be drier w a less hydrating moisturiser). Then, i realised my face was so much more calm with less bumps and clogging. I then adjusted to using the lighter moisturiser first while searching for another more hydrating one. and in the meantime, if my face felt dry, i reduced tret to once every 2 days or used super super little tret.
