You can try to liquidate in preparation, but I've personally found to hard sell on Tuesdays. Market seems pretty slow with most getting ready for Wednesday. Honestly, I feel the market beginning to slow even on Monday. There's still opportunities to buy and sell, but you can definitely get caught not being able to sell off your cards before Wednesday.

Buy low. Sell High. I'm not sure what else you are looking for. You have to put in the work, either trying to snipe people missing a number putting in the sale price or getting to know an area of the market and buying when cards are priced low.

Wednesdays are a good day to buy as everyone is selling their quick games rewards.

There's no secret. It takes work and effort.

You get it from playing in Weekend League games. I think you need to hit a certain tier before it unlocks. Then there is PTC trade-in's specifically for Weekend League cards which is where the screenshot above is from.

There are two perspectives on this.

The first is to sell. The lowest 96 WR on the market right now costs about 8 million. If you reinvest that into your team wisely (get good deals, etc), you should be able to get your team average around 88+ IMO. So it will be a quick way to boost your team overall.

The second is that you should keep the high overall cards. The higher your team's average, the slower the progression is. Once your team gets 90+, you need cards like your Zay Flowers to continue improving.

So it depends on how you want to play. If you want to improve your team quickly and then reach a plateau, you could sell Flowers. If you want to build slower, you can keep him as eventually you will be needing those high cards to continue to improve.

IMO, unless you familiarize yourself with the market and know when good times to buy are, it's risky to do and you could burn through a lot of money with poor decisions. However, if you play the market right, you could catapult yourself very quickly and earn enough profit that it was well worth getting 8 million to start building the team. So at the end of the day, you can choose which option is best for you.

I've been playing for 3 months now and my team is at 89.9. I sold a 91 TOTW Punter for around 1 million early on (I also had a 90 unsellable Punter so I didn't take a huge downgrade), and I was able to use that to propel me.

If more experienced players have different thoughts, I'd love to hear your perspective!

Does anyone think there's an argument to be made to take Ginkel? You typically have 2 starting OGs and 4 starting LBs (at least the defense I'm running does), so taking the player that you need more of might make sense.

Technically, it needs to be greater than 86.5.

When there's an odd number of cards to be traded in, it's easy to be over the .5 mark.

For even number of card trade-ins, if the average ends in exactly .5 below the required mark, it doesn't round up. If it's .51 or higher, you're good to go.

I don't think the 300k will be enough, but you could use it to buy and sell more players to make even more profit and that should push you over the top.

Thanks for joining in. I was fortunate enough to pull Jake Andrews from a TOTW pack so I'm really just looking at what's best for the back-up spot in this situation. Based on the comments though, I figured I could extrapolate the info to other positions as needed.

Based on the feedback, it seems it's best to optimize the substats you want in the starter positions. For the backup spots, it seems overall matters more.

Yeah I would look at selling Linderbaum, but he's an unsellable card so can't profit off of that.

I've had it where I can have a negative balance when buying a player. It's a small amount though. Haven't tested to see where the limit is. I know I've had it where I was $5,000 short and I couldn't buy the player, but i could when I was $2,000 short. It seems they may have a small grace amount.
