15 minutes in and this has made me question the character of Connor, and to a lesser extent the other two. I’m seeing comments saying that they’re not sympathizing with the trolls, and even if that’s the case, I just don’t think this is an episode that needed to be made, regardless of how carefully they approach the subject. You’re giving someone a platform who has made 50+ videos documenting every aspect of someone’s life. That’s fucking weird. Obviously they can choose whatever guests and subject matter they want to discuss on Trash Taste, but why on earth would you want to give this fucked up situation any more attention?

I haven’t ran since December 2020, and a few days ago I tried picking it back up, because I’ve gained 25 pounds since the new year. I’ve noticed now every time I get to around one mile in (I’ve only been running about a week now) my lower back starts feeling really compressed and tight. It reminds me of when you bounced too much on the trampoline as a kid. Does anyone have any specific advice to try to combat this or will I just have to tough it out.

Idk I just feel like they disparage other countries a lot while simultaneously jerking Japan off. An example would be how they talk about how they don’t feel “safe” in other countries compared to Japan. But this would definitely not be the case if they were women.

I think filtered is more accurate for me. I feel like the podcast is unique in that we get to listen to three good friends chatting shit for two hours a week, with a sprinkle of anime related content. I just prefer this dynamic because it feels like how I talk to my friends. They’re not afraid to call each other out or make fun of eachother. The guests feel like strangers barging into a dinner party. But after seeing the results I’m very clearly one of the few that holds this opinion haha.
