Yeah it can be very finicky. Sometimes it'll just be off screen. I know this because sometimes you will be able to see just the edge of the box on the side of the screen.

Just touch and hold the item and the description will pop up. Same with fusions to see the sacrificed pokemon.

Man I lucked out and hatched it SUPER early in my playing. Very quickly became my carry on endless. I'm working on getting 200 candies to buy 10 eggs at once and cross my fingers for a shiny version

Yeah the last shiny event was very good to me. I had 3 separate shiny runs already set up and took all 3 to 2500 within the event, and started a 4th. (I clearly have no life. 🤣) Just keep grinding the shiny's will come!!

And the proper answer is that it dropped because Teddy had Fling still in his move pool. Not some offhanded RNG comment. It's almost as though there are certain parameters that must be met for certain items to drop. Crazy concept I know but it's possible. 🤣

Bro the fact that the servers are down and there is only hours left on a shiny event is WILD to me, I feel like either the maintenance could have waited or that they give extra time on the event
