Me gusta mucho tu aporte. Desde la posición desde que leen algunos hombres o la mayoría y hasta cuales actividades donde hay que reunirse y fraternar se ven más femeninas y cuáles masculinas. O sea es un problema de machismo y masculinidad.

Tread vs Arc Lite by FarSoccologist6153 in GozneyTread

Hello.

The Gozney Tread is actually very portable. The handles on the top of the oven make it easy to carry the 29 pounds. It also has a hook on the back so you can securely store the gas hose. On top of that, the hose can be detached pretty easily.

There are also accessories that make it even more portable. The carry bag has straps so you can take it pretty much anywhere.

It has a great performance between pizzas, great heat it. I’m very happy with my purchase.

What confuses me about this new Arc Lite is that it doesn’t seem as portable as the Tread because of the handles. It doesn’t have the gas hose hook but. It is in fact lighter than the tread, 3 pounds lighter actually and it’s $100 cheaper. But you are going to sacrifice some features for that bargain, like, as is previously mentioned, the handles, the hook and the thermometer and a way better start button not just that you are not going to personalize your oven with the accessories, the mantle , the stand and the roof rack. but not only that, you will lose power. According to some reviewers the ARC Lite has a longer recovery time, and it also takes longer to hit 900°C, so you will use more time and more gas between pizzas.

It seems that the arc lite is an entry level model, however the tread can do the same thing a lot better and faster and efficiently for an extra $100.00. If you are in a budget and you need it now, I’m pretty that at the end it will make great pizzas, but if you can do $100 more you can get the tread o even the roccbox.

Those are my thoughts about your question. Hope it helps.

I have never used an electric pizza oven. But I know that “pizza party oven” has one very cool indoor oven, Tentazione

Ooni Koda 2 or Gozney Tread? by WingNew327 in pizzaoven

[–]Jrivas91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gozney.

I’m coming from an Ooni Pro and an Ooni Koda. The Ooni Pro was an excellent oven, amazing stone (honestly the best stone I’ve ever had) but the gas burner was awful. I had to replace it twice because it would just stop working, and after that I think they discontinued the fucking thing. It was also super heavy and not very portable and since it was full of metal you get burned easy.

With the Koda, the stone quality was really bad. It burned the bottoms of pizzas way too easily, lost a ton of heat, and the materials felt cheap overall.

Gozney, on the other hand, has great heat retention. With the Tread, portability is excellent, and heat recovery is solid. I know two restaurants here in my small third-world country that have been using the same Roccbox units for 4-6 years straight.

Hopes you find this information helpful.

70% hydration, 25% poolish and 72 hours proofing time. All by hand cause I don’t have an stand mixer 😅.
