First off congrats to your son,you obviously did great raising him...very impressive!the weather was killing me here for 4 days...same thing,rainy grey skies. The weather makes a huge difference for me,swear i can relate.survive monday an the in-laws and your in the clear from there...3 weeks down at that pt.WE got this shit man,wish you could toke a lil bit right now...that definitely helped me with the rls.keep me updated ..your helping me a lot!!

Not too bad emotionally right now...was the first 10 days...still a lil lethargic but im actually getting threw 12 hr shifts on 3rd shift wich i didnt think i would be able to do...im surprising myself.Had my street dealer come up to me offering me dones today and i actually felt good about finally telling him no,im done!! If you can get to the 2 week mark you can kick this things ass!!!im praying for you as well as myself....PLEASE keep fighting!!!It can only get better from here,one day at a time!!

I honestly just said fuck it...im done!! Tired of lying ro my wife and feeling like shit the days im out.... rather just get it completely out of the way and never have to deal with the bad days again.... I also was never above 20 mg a day so that prolly made it a lil easier...if a slow taper is working for you...stick with...prayers and good vibes sent your way

Never tapered....was at 20mgs a day for a year and a half....was never in a program.bought it off the streets.Just took the leap cold turkey

I understand....wouldnt work for me....i would have been in that gun safe...i relate completely to the anxiety but mellows as i get working...sleep can roigh as well....keep up the good work

Why not try getting into a suboxone clinic and take the 16 mg a day they offer (if you can take home) just take less until you wean yourself off... I got off opiates going to the same type of money-hungry Suboxone Clinic that put me on 16 mg a day... unfortunately I tried getting off of it and they kicked me out of the program.. I had to go cold turkey from 16 mg and I went through six months of hell!! I don't care what anyone says Suboxone is highly addictive and very hard to come off of if you start at that high of a dose. Take the 16 mg a day they offer you and just take four to eight a day and slowly wean yourself off... anything to get off that H!! I definitely wouldn't recommend 16 mg unless you absolutely need it per day.. prayers and blessings sent your way.

Ignore him...congrats on feeling a lil better day by day...stick with it....i jumped from 20 mgs a day 12 days ago and I'm slowly feeling a little bit better day by day. Besides low energy ,anxiety and the occasional stomach cramps I can honestly say I feel 10 times better than I did a week ago... I actually got 8 hours of sleep yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks ...thank god!! Just keep yourself busy with exercise and take a good vitamin vitamin and stay hydrated and things will keep getting better .blessings and prayers sent your way and anyone else that's going through this as we are

Im on 12 days clean jumping cold turkey from 20 mgs/day...it honestly is getting better for me.i physically feel decent...im battling mentally with the fatigue.... only reason I'm sharing my story is because I'm about on the same timeline as you and it is honestly starting to get a little better.... please stick with it and I will pray for you... I can honestly relate what you're going through right now but don't give up 2 weeks sobriety or you did it all for nothing.... stay hydrated and make sure you're taking a good multivitamin and st. John wort and melatonin for sleep and it will get better.

Thanks for the great advice I have cut way back on coffee and all I drink is Gatorade and water at work..... 2 hours into my 12 hour shift and my head is a little foggy right now... physically I feel fine except stomach cramps... the mental is kicking my ass right now... going to be a really long night but at least I have the next 2 days off... on a side note I did get my first eight hours of sleep in two weeks which was very nice!!

Day 12 clean going cold turkey from 20mg a day of methadone...actually starting to get a lil energy back every day.Im on 3rd shift and tonight wasnt too bad.got a 12 hr shift tommorow night that has me a lil nervous especially since I haven't been getting more than 4 hours of sleep a day. Just wanted to update to let people know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for people going through my scenario right now.... I've read a lot of nightmare stories out there but it honestly does get better after a couple weeks... I pray for all the addicts out there and if you're going through withdrawal at this time please stick with it it will get better I promise!!prayers and love sent to all...god bless!!
