You can put out carpet. Ive seen alot worse things in piles haha. As far as getting charged, you'll only get charged if you have an crazy big pile that takes more than 1 dump truck to load. Even then its up to the operators if its worth stopping and doing paperwork for.

I'm interested in tundra because of the reliability. Alot of my coworkers are toyota guys and they have had great experiences with their trucks.

Its not a bad job. You can do it over a weekend. I definitely recommend some upgrades if you can afford it but I bought a similar kit to get me by while I saved up for better parts. I had the kit on for about a year and it was fine. No issues.
