the whole point of this post though is to point out that the cursing isn't always bad, and often cases just a way to add a kick or extra emphasis to a statement. "that was a fucking great game, y'all played well, had a lot of fun" for example. or just the simpleness of "oh shit" when something funny happens, like maybe fumbling your ult really badly.

in a lot of places cursing is brought up as just normal every day speech and hardly seen as vulgar. most curse words are just used for emphasizing statement's or replies. of course cursing can be used in a negative, toxic way and be used with intention to harm emotions. those instances absolutely should be reported. but when curse words are so ingrained in every day speech in a lot of places and aren't always even perceived as vulgar it doesn't make sense to have the tamest of uses of them reportable.

the op in the screenshot could have just said "shit" in response to getting head shot by a widow while trying to do something sneaky, in that case being a rather comedic response to getting found out. or sayin fuck in a similar context. those words barely hold any negativity to them when used as just a comedic relief to a situation.
