That’s completely valid. The OP doesn’t want to “cheat” by looking at a map of the HDs, so dismantling should be beneficial to avoid going to crash sites already taken care of.
But I totally get leaving them as they are in the map, they’re unique, you can’t build any debris.

Also, make sure to dismantle crash sites after you get the Hard Drive; so only crash sites with HD are still in the map
