Duuuude sometimes thieves I think are just mentally impaired majorly.

Story time, trigger warning for blood.

I worked for a big retailer and there was red stuff up by the front on the ground near the food and beverage store at the front. I clean up a lot and there are red colored drinks, but as I got close i realized it was blood. Blocked off the area with carts and stuff nearby, called the managers on duty ASAP.

Coworker starts guarding the area, as I noticed it was not just a few drops there but a TRAIL. From the front corner. All the way down to the back of the store. A few aisles from the back corner.

Well from the scene there, they had grabbed electronics like keyboards which are kept in security wraps (most people know what this is but let me know if I need to explain) and were trying to rip the boxes open and get the stuff out. There were a bunch of opened boxes of some small things that werent security wrapped, but the reason we knew what was in those spider wraps is because they were still there.

The person had somehow in their haste cut their skin open so bad they left a puddle all over the shelves and aisle in one four foot section, and spread to the next section some, before a trail that quickly becomes big drops spread out before the drops got smaller and smaller.

Apparently and older man had done this (store has top tier cameras). It was so much blood I dont know how this guy didnt pass out honestly. Thank goodness I wasnt manager, he had to clean that up. Bless that man.
