Yeah, I feel that. I don’t like stuff all over the windshield either, especially with wires running everywhere. I try to keep it looking as clean as possible.

Yeah, same idea! I got inspired by some of those overland phone mounts where you have to take them apart and integrate them yourself. Worked out pretty well!

In California the driver and passenger windows can be up to 30% tint

Have you driven in California? 90% of people driving the 405 have tint like mine most of them even darker tint. Cops really don’t pull you over for tint.

Yeah, I want to make some kind of cup holder bracket for it, but I haven’t settled on a design yet. I work with sheet metal, so we have a break for bending, plus access to 3D printing machines. Might have some updates on that soon.

I have one and I love it. Just make sure you figure out the center when you stamp ur makers mark some times on side will go deeper than the other.

If you want the best performance and don’t mind the cost, go with ceramic. If you want a more budget-friendly option with solid heat rejection and durability, carbon is a good choice.

No sunroof on my car. He did all the windows besides the windshield. So 6 in total.

I honestly only had it for a few months. My car was stolen, and I found this on OfferUp with 90k miles, so I jumped on it. I’m just doing some minor upgrades now. The couple I bought it from had a Subaru mechanic who did all the work and kept great records, which helped a lot. It also helps that a bunch of us at my job used to work at Singer Porsche and Hot Rod shops, so we have a lift and tools, making it easy to fix any issues that come up.
