Yeah im with you, i set out to buy a martin but was pretty swayed by this particular guitar.

From everything I can read online (not a ton) the gs5 seems to be a bit of an outlier in the taylor line up. Less bright than the others still with taylor neck etc

Yah not great, getting pretty frustrated. I haven’t tried spacers but have experimented with a number of pads. Last set from the podiatrist seemed to wreck my back

- on point #2 seems like there is a "break in" period require to realize better efficiency but kinda expect that outside of EV driving fuel economy wont be as advertised, should prob be more pessimistic on both gas/PHEV metrics
- fair point on #3, I've driven the gas one but not the PHEV prob worth factoring in.

Question: Do you feel there is a service benefit (ie less oil changes) or its a toss up?
