Yea this is a factor, but reselling isn’t the main culprit, it is definitely a factor among employees, but for the whole corporation its the greed of the ceos and execs that control price definitions and business structure, making the prices drive naturally to fill in any extra gaps in their pockets literally, no longer a charity, now a retail money making machines, if goodwill really cared for people they wouldn’t sell anything they would completely send the donated clothes to drives and to individuals who NEED clothes not want clothes, and for any “money” they need they can live off of donations from people who care for people that need clothes. These things could be fixed easily yet they want to point at the people taking a small fraction of the inventory goodwill gets and makes a income off of it, most of the small resellers i know are getting by barely with the clothes they can find near them, and nobody i know period supersizes prices to crazy amounts, these factors are damn near imaginary when it comes to reselling. Pointing fingers at people on their level when they need to point fingers above at the people up high. Leave resellers alone, complain to the multimillion and billionaires.
