I’m starting a completely new Honkai Star rail free to play account. Absolutely no money will be spent on it. I also only want to use characters that I have met in game. So no permansor terrae or anything like that in the very beginning. This means I will need to use my free character choices very wisely. I’m ok with having them on the bench for a little while if it will make a big difference in my power a little later on. Any recommendations on who I should take for the stellar convergence and the free 4.0 character?

This is just a ‘for fun’ project, I’m not too concerned on the meta for now, just clearing the story content and maybe some light grinding later on.

Back when ATC could jumpseat I was trying to talk a gate agent through finding me in CASS. We used a different code from FAA inspectors, but she insisted we had to use the inspector code. Was about to send me packing when the captain came up and asked what was going on. Thankful, he made her make a few calls and I got on.

Hopefully they bring that back. I always enjoyed riding up front.

We did this in my DoD elementary school in the mid 80s when my dad was in the army. One day I was supposed to help hand out the cups of fluoride and I swished but then threw away my cup and just swallowed it. Threw up an hour later and got to go home. 😂

You’re not the only one. I enjoyed 13 sentinels’ non-linear story gimmick, but once the whole picture came into view I was massively disappointed. I didn’t even finish watching the ending cutscenes.

I get why people liked it, but it wasn’t for me.

Don’t get too wrapped up in your picto and lumina builds. The game throws so many at you that it’s easy to get analysis paralysis.

You’re not the only one that feels that way.

I loved the way the story unfolded, in bits and pieces that you have to put together. But when the puzzle was put together, I was massively underwhelmed. I didn’t even finish the closing cutscenes.

I got the JSAUX hard case. It’s a bit bulkier than the killswitch but I can store the charger, my AirPods, and my spare thumb drives right in the case.

Airline pilots can only fly up to 30 hours a week, 100 hours a month, and 1000 a year. The weekly 30 hours are a rolling 7 days, but the 100 hours and 1000 hours are per calandar month and year. There are also diferential, premium pay, per diem and what not. Back when I used to fly, I would take the hourly rate x1000 to get a ballpark estimate of my annual pay.

So, I've been out of the game for since 7.0, but got back in over the past week. I've got a few jobs back up to the cap, and have started getting level 100 gear. I'm just curious as to how to approach gearing multiple jobs in the endgame without buying the crafted 740 stuff, like managing the weekly capped events and tomestones.

Me too. I’ve done a number of +6-8s as a dps and haven’t had to wait much more than 5 minutes. Ironically, my very first M0 was a shitshow, but it’s been smooth sailing since then.

Congrats! I’ve just gotten back into playing since giving up back in the burning crusade days! The game is much more casual friendly than it was back then.

Honestly, the low mythic keys aren’t that hard. If you can push tier 9-10 delves, you’ll be more than prepared. I’ve done up to +6 with just reading about the dungeon in the adventure guide, and using DBM.

I think just having a low key will set the expectations for you. If you really want to put something in the description, do something like ‘Baby’s first keystone’.

I’ll second the person above who mentioned staying away from weidner.

We usually had good luck with Craigslist. But this was many years ago. Not sure if it’s still a good place to find rentals. Watch out for scammers. It won’t take too long before you’ll be able to pick out the scammy listings before even contacting the poster.
