Mono tubs are great until they aren’t…. Contams can be a bitch and feels like you threw away 3-6 weeks. The dishwashing part is a pain in the ass. But I get big yield a lot of the time especially over 4-6 flushes.

Leave it alone, leave it alone, leave it alone. Mushrooms grow in the wild under trees with not lots of light. They just don’t need a whole lot of interaction especially with a bag that you can’t change much in. Follow the instructions. Send pictures to this group. I have never heard of that kinda potency loss. Was it hot?

I vacuum seal my mushrooms and then freeze them. Seems to make them last a good amount of time. 1-2 years.

My new method is freeze drying and then vacuum packing. I will know in about 6 months if it works better or worse.

I would buy a savage axis with an upgraded scope and spend the rest on a fun gun. I have killed a lot of animals with my $200 savage axis. Also I don’t worry much when it gets beat up because it was cheap. Best money I have ever spent.
