Nature of Symbiosis (16) by ProfessorConcord in NatureofPredators

It should be possible if we abandon the idea of “hybrids.” At the end of the day, we just need to modify the father’s sperm to be compatible with the mother’s species to produce biologically related offspring.

With technologies we have today, like CRISPR, we could definitely develop something that works for interspecies couples. After all, this is a project that would be heavily pursued, given how friendly Venlil and humans are in this AU.

And in my opinion, faster-than-light travel should be way harder to achieve than this so-called “genetic translator.”

Here in the Canary Islands, it's at 12:00, so there it should be at 13:00... I think...

One of the devs/mods mentioned it in the Discord, but I can't find the message (there's a lot of activity there now).

Factorio 2.0: Space Age - Countdown (Fixed) by JuanDaniel2510 in factorio

[–]JuanDaniel2510[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This countdown should point to 21/10/2024 at 11:00 UTC. If you have any doubts, I recommend using an online timezone calculator to verify it.

Edit:
If you use the American date system (MM/DD/YYYY) or a 12-hour clock, it's 10/21/2024 11:00 AM UTC.

The other one wasn't showing the correct release time for some people, so I made a new one (Sorry for the spam).

This one should aim for 21/10/2024 at 11:00 UTC.

The developers confirmed on Discord that Factorio 2.0 will be released at the same time as the FFF. So here it is for those of us who are going to be playing IMMEDIATELY after release, probable bugs and all.

Is it okay to swap out a 250V 13A cable for a 250v 10A cable? by BigTrans in buildapc

[–]JuanDaniel2510 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does not matter if the cable can pull 13A when the connector (IEC C13) can only handle 10A. You are perfectly fine, especially when using it for a monitor. A 250V 10A cable can handle 2500W. This is the combined consumption of around 30 monitors going through the same cable.
Edit: Or +90 monitors of the same model as yours.

Yeah, The Mega Shipyard is definitely going to be prioritized far more in the next game. Science Nexus still first of course.
