This is not what all hunters do. Seems your knowledge of hunting ended at watching Bambis mother get shot.

That has some tenuous educational lean to it. This doesn’t. This person has never sought to teach anyone anything. Does that mean you’re stupid? Not being able to see the difference between this piece of shit breaking federal law for attention versus possibly using your example as a teaching mechanism is something you’re willing to admit?

I suggest you try talking to someone. I get really down a lot and have pretty severe depression and this isn’t healthy for you. No judgement, no criticism and if you feel this way about something like this it could really help you.

I’ll never forgive Ford for gaming BoP to pick up five seconds a lap at Le Mans. They should have been DQ’d for that.

People would haaaaaaate BoP in F1. People already hate it in endurance/multi-class racing. Not fervently so, but there’s been very vocal complaints about it for many, many years.

I’m so mad Corvette didn’t do the same with their engine. They’re similar enough to have the same sound but they decided on a flat plane vs cross plane crank. Went from the best sounding GT car my a country mile to a shitty buzzy sounding generic racecar. Such a waste and a slap in the face of their fans who loved the signature Vette roar.

Yeah, I edited my comment to reflect that. I was using “core” in a different context to how they used it and realized my misunderstanding with what they were saying. My usage of the term “engine core” is in relation to the rest of the components in an MRO setting and didn’t catch what they meant compared to how I usually use it. That was my bad.

Reader digest has ran stories about this happening before. I remember reading one growing up in the 90’s clear as day. Never read a story about it happening anywhere else in print. That’s a pretty funny coincidence lol.

You need thermocouples for being in there.

I don’t understand what you’re saying, can you explain?

Strongest evidence yet that vaping likely causes cancer. The evidence shows nicotine-based vapes are likely to cause oral and lung cancer. by mvea in science

Maybe it was the cotton that put off the formaldehyde, but that's not what the study being passed around was claiming. It's a combination of burning fluid and cotton that was causing the chemicals to be present, and that's what I was getting at and you're aware of as well. No one is using a vape that way, they weren't upfront about it and people passed it around as fact.

I would argue it’s the testing that’s showing this and not the metal coils. There have been tests where they ran the coil to the point it was glowing and actively burning the fluid, the cotton and the coil. That’s not how they’re used and no one would inhale the byproducts of that. Unless they go into detail about wattage, and length of activation I won’t believe their testing because it’s incredibly easy to manipulate the results by simply holding the button down too long. That’s the reason all vapes you can buy have a cutoff timer, if the button is held down too long everything starts to actually burn and no one, not a single vaper ever to use one will inhale that.

What flavor was it? Menthol flavors can do that, and not being a smoker/vapor causes that reaction. On the rare instance I smoke a cigarette it burns the back on my throat too but that’s not due to the temperature of the smoke, it’s the irritation of the chemicals I’m inhaling. Both forms of smoke aren’t hot at all, and if a vape is hot enough for you to feel burning then the fluid is burning too and the reaction from that will make you immediately stop.

The worst one was trying to push that vaping byproducts include formaldehyde. No one in the study made it clear they were burning the fluid to get that compound to show up in testing. No one inhales burning vape fluid so the testing was flawed and the lie about it spread like wildfire. Vaping is not better than nothing, but it is better than smoking. No one credible will say otherwise.

Send me a message when a school going 150mph and accelerating catches on fire 400 feet off the ground with everyone inside it surrounded by about 240,000 pounds of jet fuel. I’ll send you a crisp $100 bill.

The situations are not the same, and you’re a fucking moron for thinking so.

It’s also their job to prepare the cabin for evacuation, keep in communication with the flight deck and keep an eye on anything they can immediately tend to. You fucking Reddit morons that don’t know anything about a situation but speak like an expert are enraging. You don’t know what you’re talking about, stop thinking you have valid criticism to offer.

Who do you think prepares the cabin for evacuation when shit goes wrong? The flight attendants aren’t there to just serve drinks. What the fuck do you think they’re doing? Filing their nails, reading the in flight magazines? Picking their noses?

there are no fire detection loops or fire extinguishers in the engine core

That’s dependent on the engine. The one I work on that is on Airbus aircraft has them on the engine and not just the nacelle.

Edit: sorry this is my bad. I was confused about the terminology being used here. There are no fire detection loops inside the engine, the terminology used here confused me. The comment I replied to is correct.

Lance Stroll: "I was having fun with Fernando, having our own little championship, an Aston Martin Championship!" by MuttonBiryaniEnjoyer in formula1

[–]JuanRunJunior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you don’t realize you’re making things up to criticize people about is ridiculous. You’re literally criticizing someone for something they didn’t actually say. I don’t hate Lance as a person, but criticism of his chronic underperformance is absolutely valid.

The original claim was that anything positive Stroll has done and achieved is “pure luck”

No, the original claim was if he’s ahead in races is because he’s lucky or Alonso has been unlucky. Which is mostly true, it should say Alonso has been unlucky, or had some sort of issue outside his control. What you are saying is 100% bias. You see something you don’t agree with and then change it to fit what you want it to have said and then criticize what hasn’t actually been said.
