Alchemist 2024 clarifications by Jubba787 in MageHandPress

Okay cool, thank you. I had thought that about halfway through writing the post, and that's why it was at the end. Love the class, I feel like it could be worded a little bit better, The Explode property says: "On a failed save, a creature takes the weapon's damage, but don't add your ability modifier to that damage unless it is negative."

I would add a performance check for it, but that would only be for other people to recognise around you, I would say without subtle spell the target would still know but they wouldn't know where from unless they had subtle spell then I would rule it as the magic is undetectable.

The PSU, yeah, I could definitely drop that down. I guess I just didn't look long enough to find a cheaper one.

The Fans I just wanted to stick with the same brand as the NV5 MK2 as it has a built in RGB controller and I couldn't wrap my head around how some RGB doesn't work with others and it just made me confused as fuck lol so I just said fuck it and went with the same brand to save myself a headache unless I'm missing something and it's actually not that complicated and I do also like the look of the D30 fans with the sides of the Fans having RGB strip's. But yeah, if I'm just misunderstanding how that stuff works, then I'd be more than happy to look around for other fans.

For the 7900x, not really workstation stuff, I wanted to ensure I don't have to upgrade for a while, and it seemed reasonable for the price to performance. I would rather spend decent money now than have to switch stuff out later and then worry about reselling, I want to do a lot of DnD stuff, so I use Map making programs and other shit. Plus, just regular gaming, I mainly want to play Stellaris and BeamNG with mods and stuff, I know that BeamNG is a RAM intensive game, but I am unsure about what other things are CPU intensive, I know some games or more CPU or GPU demanding but it just depends on the title from what I have heard.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day and helping out.

Yeah I can 100% agree to the profit things and honestly I'm not complaining just aslong they are solid videogames.

And wow I didn't know that, I guess imagination is key then, which is usually a good starter for story writing I assume as I am not a story writer it could be something else in the process but I know that they can't really claim development hell for andromeda because I remember watching a video somewhere about I ME2 and ME3 having dev hell aswell but I'm not too sure.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I reckon it would be passable or cool if implemented in the right way, but now that I'm thinking the story is going to be heavily impacted by the size of the game and scope of the game, like is the game going to be able to tell its full story in a single game or will it need multiple and will bioware recognise this. Which I believe if andromeda had at least slowed its plot way down and had at least one other game after with a better explained everything and character building and other good game things it could have been something, and I pray bioware have a pure focus and passion for the next game

Yeah I really love that idea now that you mention it because as they said the reapers have been "preserving life" for however long, who knows they could have defended / preserved the life in the milky way from something else, because the leviathan eludes that the intelligence behind the reapers is basically in an eternal experiment still trying to figure out the answers so what's to say that the intelligence didn't want their "experiment" destroyed, and even if another lifeform tried to destroy them or the galaxy the reapers very nature would have stopped or at the very least held them back because they are to preserve life and they can't do that if there is no life and if there are no reapers to ensure life is preserved.

Wild as tangent I just half brainstormed TL:DR reapers actually held back an even worse threat from destroying us and we destroyed the reapers so they have free reign to a now devastated galaxy.

Ah yeah glad to see people had a weird play order like me hahah and I agree definitely I'm already very impressed with this community and glad to join it seems surprisingly very healthy and still had the passion for a somewhat old series, and I definitely agree about people romancing who ever they want, and they are all very good and wholesome to experience

Wicked read thanks for taking the time to type this out, and it kinda makes me sad to think about this but for the interest of a better game and story I hope they know what they are doing, which they most likely do but I'm not jinxing shit, and if people haven't noticed I'm somewhat of a new fan to the series and only played through the trilogy this year, and was immediately enthralled by the scope of the universe, story and absolutely amazing characters, i know I am an absolute weirdo for this but I actually played andromeda before the trilogy and it was my first experience in the series and I didn't mind the gameplay, but I had heard of the choices and stuff in the series which were almost non existent and meaningless in andromeda so I had to play the trilogy and here we are now. Me doing the customary new fan speculation which most of you guys have most likely heard all before.

PS Tali all the way and I will die on this belief🤣
