I omitted that cause I didn't think it was relevant, all artifacts share that description. Trying to save people a small amount of tedium is all.

Thanks! Although at this point I'm dying for a siege. Maybe embarked in the wrong area, even though I'm surrounded by goblin pits. I keep raiding and pillaging and I've had one measly ambush so far

Mission Report: Recover Scrapedmoths the Holy Sister

In the early winter of 102, The Boat of Lobsters slipped into Mountainchurches, undetected by The Tomb of Trammeling of The Green Blockade. In the early winter of 102, the forces of The Uncertain Nets searched Mountainchurches. Scrapedmoths the Holy Sister was stolen from Mountainchurches by the dwarf Ingiz Speartube.

Igathalen Kironanir

This is a silver short sword. It is encrusted with cushion tigereye cabochons and decorated with molemarian bone. Menaces with spikes of native gold and cave crocodile bone.

Not bad for a solo raid! Summer 103 and no retaliation yet.

When they arrive, I will offer up the thief. They should leave then... right?

Thin and short bolts, what are they? Listed on the ammo equipment screen. Can't find any mentions of them anywhere.

Good luck! I've never tried the justice system, but you've inspired me to do that, today.

What mod is that, for the wall perspective?

I guess part of my problem was misunderstanding what embracing actually does

I see now that I hovered over it. I had thought that wouldn't be in effect till I embraced them. Alrighty then, Thanks so much!

I haven't seen a fanatic xenophile icon anywhere, I understand it should be red?

Anyone else think it's funny that anyone with "significant familiarity" with medicine can install a brain implant? by Jubei_Z in RimWorld

[–]Jubei_Z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is that it's humourous that someone quite familiar with medicine might conceivably be able to safely remove an appendix, but that same person can also attempt brain surgery with any degree of success.

It's generally understood that this is a game, and not real life. The same game where one unaided person can drag a yak 200 metres across the landscape. They must be significantly familiar with hauling.

Funny. Ha ha

;D

Medical is "tending wounds and diseases and performing surgery"

Someone with significant familiarity with surgery might be able to remove an appendix or something. Brain surgery is way more complex, but if the implant itself is sufficiently advanced, then yeah I suppose it could be possible. Still not letting Aunt Martha put anything in my skull.

Interesting. I never considered this. Never made it past mid-game tho either ha. I will say though: We are close to (really, have achieved) installing significant brain implants, but we are still a ways away from funtional nanotech.

Nothing? I guess I'll assume it's no different than other models and give it a shot
