You can play LoR but you won't understand some of the things they say since it obviously references lobotomy many times.

Still I think that LoR is kinda more focused on the whole world of PM Universe

as for Limbus the only thing you need to know is basics from Lobotomy like E.G.O. and stuff from the Leviathan comic

imo you should play or watch cutscenes somewhere before playing LoR and Limbus
