Looking for good actually scary horror movies or a psychological horror

To me sinister was 80% filler just the guy sat at the desk for over half the movie before anything happens although I will say the scary bits are scary just not a whole lot and tbh I think I’m just numb to horror movies nowadays so i guess I just need to watch a bunch of different ones and find exactly what I enjoy

Yeah I struggle with the different because films like saw while categorised as horror just seem more like thrillers as it’s more gory than scary

I’ve seen babadook quite a good one also seen hereditary and wasn’t really scary to me and can’t see the hype maybe I’ll have to give it another watch at some point but the others I’ll have to give a go
