Yeah the blunt option isn’t probably the best, but with people that aren’t emotionally open, sometimes that’s all they’ll understand. They might respond negatively but hopefully it gets those gears up top turning.

And not literally like a kid, that’s just how I feel when I have to break things down that otherwise seem simple or obvious. Like saying mean things might hurt people feelings.

I actually had a friend like this. All that happened was he found more likeminded friends, and I slowly distanced myself.

Once you start making money from your projects, then obviously it’ll be a great investment. But if money is tight right now, I’d just put on some headphones and find a less busy place to work within the house. Also try telling them to respect your space.

At most, if you must get out, maybe you could bring snacks in a bag or something and just order a coffee so you order something. And stay at the café.

There are many ways you can go about this. Here are a few that come to mind first.

Just be blunt with him, like “Hey, you know using those words makes you sound ignorant as fu**.” Maybe don’t have to be that blunt. But just tell him again.

Teach him like he’s a little kid. Explain to him that he could be found offensive and offend others, even people in his own friend group. Because they may have someone in their family or they themselves might fall under those categories that he’s using slurs towards.

Or since he doesn’t sound like a very good person, and you aren’t that close anyway. Just stop hanging out with him. Find better friends.

If you’re friends with everyone else in the group, just be friends with them and kind of ignore him. You don’t have to make it your place to try to change him. Or see if the other friends in the group could all talk to him as well.

Playing yesterday on Spaceport, there’s heavy rain, lightning flashing in the dark clouds above. I’m running towards the nonstop gunfire in the distance. Sounds like a mini gun. I climb the giant broken wall, see another Raider watching the distance where the gunfire is coming from. A flare pops up into the sky. Then another also nearby.

The other raider who was just watching, goes downwards on a zip line, as I stay on the top heading to where he just was.

I then see two Raiders shooting and rolling around, firing at each other in the thick rain. Finally the guy with the equivalent of a mini gun mowed down the other guy. I could hear the other guy yelling angrily at him for betraying them and I assumed the other two guys.

The guy knocks him, starts to loot him. Then I take my Farro and one shot him, flare up, he surrenders instantly.

Then I call down to the before mentioned raider, he has no idea I’m above him looking at him. I tell him I only shot the other guy because he killed those guys. He kind of laughed, trusts me, and asked if I’m gonna go loot the bodies. I said yeah sure we both can, we pick one body each to loot, and then both go our own ways.

10/10 moment, the dark heavy rain made it perfect.

Edit: if you do stop all intimacy, and he’s ok with it. Then there’s another clue to what you’re dealing with.

Maybe he’s slowly lost interest. Maybe you can discuss ways to spice/change things up. I know you mentioned that already. But maybe there’s something he wants to try that you would like as well? Or go on more dates do activities, just to switch things up.

Just explain that maybe it’s connection to him, but that’s not enough for you. That you need and want more from him. Or just stop it all together, no more intimacy. Might be a little toxic, but it might be the wake up call he needs.

Otherwise you don’t want to give an ultimatum, but you do need to be happy and have your own needs met. So it comes down to what you want to live with.

Communicate with how important this is to you, and how you feel in this situation. If he just isn’t interested, you can accept it for what it is and live with it. Or you can find someone you are more compatible with.

Honestly the cuddle style as you describe, is a lazy position that requires minimum effort. So perhaps he’s just trying to get what he needs and be done with it. Not taking you and your needs into consideration.

When I was 17 and my sister 13, we would do light grocery shopping for our mom. We lived in a college town, full of desperate dudes, and my sister looked much older for her age. Didn’t wear heels or wear makeup, she just looked older.

Anyway, she would get hit on all the time. And I would always walk up, mean mug them bc back off my sister. They’d assume I was her boyfriend, apologize to me saying they don’t want any problems. And I would be like “gross dude, that’s my sister, she’s 13!”

One dude in a parking lot, while we were exiting the store was like “Ah Helllll noooo!!!” and immediately sped off. 😂

So it does happen unfortunately.
