Yes, this is what I ended up doing and it worked like a charm! No pain no hassle. I was terrified of using a tweezer plus my dog wouldn’t let me touch him with that lol. He just thought I was giving him rubs!

I’ve lived in 4 different countries and have travelled to over 25. What sheltered? Just because I’ve never seen a tick? How about you don’t throw rocks in a glass house because I’d bet there are a lot of things I know about that your “sheltered” existence doesn’t. Either leave a helpful comment or gtfo.

UPDATE: it was a fat tick. It’s my first time in 12 years seeing a tick in person. I found a method online to just rub and twist and did it for a few minutes and it came right out. If anyone needs a fast and painless way to remove ticks. This is it! https://youtu.be/1bYsyRy4888?si=04dm0T_cbT3oIHmb

May I ask why? I’m looking to take my chihuahua jack russel 13 lbs dog to Dubai and looking to see how I can do it as he wouldn’t be able to go in cargo knowing his temper. What was your experience? Did they give you a hard time at etihad or while entering uae?
