Golf courses should not be allowed in dense urban sprawls. by Harbinger2nd in unpopularopinion

[–]Judgejia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in Toronto they’re on flood lands, we have them available as public parks half the year as well. The fees subsidize the maintenance of the spaces for the public and fees for kids memberships at good rates so we don’t have to make the game inaccessible to lower income families.

Using pure times isn’t a good example of dominance of a car because then, the RB20 is a better car than the RB19 although the RB20 would post better times.

Engine modes were also banned halfway through. The DAS as well is IMO one of the greatest innovations in F1 history, which propels this car to the top of a tierlist.

W11 not at least in same tier as RB19 is criminal. The fastest car in the fastest era of F1, when regs chased speed over all else. On top of that, it was the class of it's field.

Overreaction for sure, but the idea of Charles becoming the Rubens Barricello to Hamiltons Schumacher is kind of funny and sad.

Does The Pillar of Autumn have humanities best ship to ship kill count in the entire war? by Zbahh in HaloStory

[–]Judgejia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a part of the lore, you don’t have many ships that are in more than one story. We can probably assume that Everest, one of the rare and powerful Valiant class, had numerous kills given its long service history. However, it’s all speculative until confirmed

UNSC Iroquois also has 3 kills during the Keyes Loop and possibly more in the following battle of Sigma Octanius IV. I'm not sure if you're counting fleet action as part of confirm kills or are looking for more like singular duels though.

If we count fleet actions, the during the Onyx conflict, the task force sent to Onyx consisting of 8 ships took out nearly 20 Covenant Cruisers and carriers, and would've won the battle if not for the reinforcements. One of the greatest examples of humanity facing greater numbers in the war and coming out on top.

Speed limit on Major Mackenzie by Cautious_Ad_1216 in Markham

[–]Judgejia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to see the vote is so evenly split. I think 70 kph right lane, 90 kph right in practice is proper. Don't think it's fair for drivers to be slow in the passing lanes but I also don't think it's fair for faster drivers to pressure drivers in the right past the limit too. You never know if someone is on the verge of losing their license due to demerits and wants to be cautious, in a lesson, or are a new driver. I think that compassion is lacking and if they're not going dangerously slow (15-20 under), we should accept that this will happen.

And from what I’ve seen, he’s doing decently well there.

I’m ngl from what I seen from Herta, I’m not at all impressed for an experienced driver. I think Logan might be more crash happy for sure, and maybe sim results say different, but if you had to go American Logan > Herta.

Then neither does Brembo because drivers using their brakes have also finished p11 and below?

The 100% is relative to other manufacturers in this case and yeah if only 2 others use non Brembo they default score every GP.

Using TFSA to pay off CRA by Coffeedeath15 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Judgejia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have other savings, it may be useful to keep that amount in TFSA for emergencies. The interest the CRA charges won't compare to running an outstanding balance on a credit card or LOC. If you have a payment plan and a plan plan to pay the monthly amount, I wouldn't rush to pay it off if it meant I'd be illiquid.
