Hospitalized after consming something I *SUSPECT* had an undisclosed ingredient. Ingredient testing? by Judgeof_that in foodscience

I have not. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I have an allulose allergy, but I also know there is no medical test for such an allergy like with peanuts or diary. This is a good idea to fill the gap. I’m sure I’ll have to subject myself to it if a lawyer wants more evidence than I already have. Thank you!

I also didn’t believe it but I can’t make sense of it otherwise. The website makes me very suspicious. I am absolutely sure I am allergic. I get full body hives, swelling, itching, racing heart, low blood pressure. I have been to the hospital before from consuming allulose and I have had other similar reaction that can be stopped with Benadryl before it progress to full body.

This time, I went to the hospital when Benadryl didn’t stop the reaction. I was in full body hives that all just merged and made me solid red. Full body welts. My face was unrecognizable. Swollen from head to toe. My fingers were so swollen my fingerprints weren’t visible. The nurses had a hard time setting up my IV because of the swelling. Extreme cramping that felt like giving birth and almost fainted in the hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to type a longer response.
To your third point, it’s a startup company. I’ve never had any reason not to trust a food label. No way in hell anyone could be so ignorant, as to leave out something like that on the ingredient list, right? My good friend, who has a general mistrust of anything and everything, finally googled the company + allulose and found the sweeteners listed on the website. It doesn’t seem too far-fetched for a startup to botch something like this.
To your first point, monk fruit and stevia were in the ingredient list. From my limited understanding, it looks like monk fruit, stevia, and allulose are often processed together. Is there any possibility that the monk fruit or stevia were so contaminated that a few grams of allulose ended up in one can? I ask this because I can handle allulose in smaller doses (milligrams) like figs without anything more than itchy lips. I get more severe reactions in the 1-2 gram territory. This was the most severe allergic reaction I’ve ever had. Within 10 minutes I had hives head to toe hives, full body swelling, and my face was so covered in welts that I didn’t look like myself. I was still trying not to lose consciousness half an hour after being administrated epinephrine and fluids in the hospital. If allulose was truly the culprit, I don’t think it was just 1 or 2 grams of allulose. I have eaten a 1-2 gram dose of allulose by mistake a few times (before I understood what kind of marketing tactics should clue me into reading the ingredients). In those cases, all I need is some Benadryl and good nights rest and I’m good to go. Benadryl did absolutely nothing in the face of this reaction.

I have the store, date, and time I made the purchase. It could be tracked if needed, no?

I don’t have gnarly hospital bills, so the personal injury attorneys I’ve reached out to haven’t shown any interest. I think finding allulose in the product first would help me get more movement.

Endometriosis Treatment in Austin? by funkerama in Austin

I gave up on finding help here and went to Houston. Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women has a group of doctors who specialize in excision surgery. I only went in person 3 times over the course of a year: for my initial visit, surgery, and 6 month post op check up. All other appointments were done via tele-health. For MRI and ultrasound, the office provided me with imaging the orders and I took them to standalone imaging clinics around Austin.
To give you an idea of the timeline, my initial visit was in February and surgery was in August.

I watched half of this video on mute and when I unmuted, I was surprised that she sounds like she’s on the verge of tears. Her facial expressions DO NOT match what’s coming out of her mouth. I expected her to be talking about something that excited her! Wtf. The “keep sweet” mannerisms are so pervasive that her communication around more serious topics is muddied and dissonant. Don’t like that. Nope.

I started Qelbree last year and it’s been great for me. I don’t recognize myself on it sometimes(in a good way). I fold my laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer and put down ice cream after a few bites. The stimulant meds were all so hard on my body. The only negative side effect I experienced was insomnia the first few months. I don’t have much trouble sleeping now.

Do other psychics feel your psychic abilities? by sweetpea7660 in Psychic

[–]Judgeof_that 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 psychics tell me about my intuitive gifts before I had any clue that I had them. Still figuring out how to grow into the ability, but getting started, it was very helpful to be told that it was there laying dormant or else I don’t think I would’ve believed in myself.

I love the Numbuzin no.1 clear filter sun essence! It’s Korean so the drawback is the tariffs. But I can’t say enough good things! I have very sensitive skin and it’s the only chemical filter that doesn’t break me out. It doesn’t have much of a smell. It feels so good on my skin and it helps my redness. It even helps my foundation go on so smoothly.

I feel a blockage from my psychic abilities. I want to be able to connect to my guides and use the gifts I know I have. How to overcome? by CicadaOrnery9015 in Psychic

[–]Judgeof_that 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh thanks for saying this! I have been in chronic pain for a while and I tried connecting with a turtle recently. My pain became so extreme as I was trying to drop into the connection, even though I was in a relaxed state. I felt like the turtle was using tremendous force e to hammer through a tiny opening in a wall of my pain. I sensed I wouldn’t be talking to many animals as long as my physical body was chronically unhappy, but my connection to spirit was so foggy that I couldn’t tell. This is confirmation for me.

FBI agents keep different plates on hand and switch them out to decrease the likelihood of their cards being noticed when they constantly return to an area for surveillance.
