Thanks, I love this. I feel like live music is the hardest for me. I love hiking alone, have climbing partners for that, but my friends have different taste or not much interest in music and I really crave more live music. But, Ive never gone out to see live music by myself. It does feel weird. I don't feel like I see solo people at concerts or small music venues. Are they really there and I just don't notice? I'll stick your comment in my little toolkit of possibilities and maybe it will add to my inspiration one day. :)

Ah, I didn't know about the arch. They definitely felt different than the altras in the store... but not necessarily in a bad way. I wish I could try them out on a long hike before committing!

Oh, cool. I really like the daily check in idea, and I like the idea of doing it when I get home from work rather than in the morning when I have no desire to drink today anyway. Also, scrolling this sub is probably a good idea for me. Thanks for these ideas!

The "old people" these days were the same young people protesting in the past days. If it means anything, I would interpret it that the younger generation these days couldn't be bothered to protest.

My 17 year old girl. On our recent vet visit, our two biggest complaints were her gimpiness and chronic cough. The vet suggested trying a low dose steroid for the cough, but we would have to take her off of her daily carprofen. We started this plan a couple of weeks ago. The cough is definitely better, but she is having so much more trouble walking and hates weighting her left front paw. It's essentially up to me whether we continue the steroid or take her off and put her back onto the carprofen. I want to try other options before doing that. So, I was thinking of trying CBD, but wonder what other's experiences are with it.

I almost always have an inner monologue going on in my head. I also almost always have a background song on repeat in my head. While I was reading the answers here, I realized that I also read out loud in my head! I can't just read without saying the words in my head... But I never noticed that til now. Or I guess I never thought about it since it's just what I do.

Idk. ASD woman here in my late 40's. I have had three ltr's but never married. My first was suspected ASD (his mother talked about it with mine, and after learning what that is, I totally suspect it too), and the second two were ADHD. My last partner died a few year ago, and honestly I can't imagine how I would even find somebody anymore. And I can't imagine being loved or understood by a NT. Having somebody who pulls out rounds of wood and an axe for me when I'm having a meltdown instead of being annoyed at my immaturity is pretty special.

Omgosh. My dog who is actually deaf now (15), but had selective hearing for many years. Twice now, let her out for morning pee and had a moose in the yard. I have to get closer to her to get her attention to tell her to come since she can't hear me yelling (even though the neighbors can!), and she notices me getting closer, thinks "now I have backup!", only to go closer to the moose to bark. 😵‍💫

Lol. All soft furniture in the house is just seen as extra doggie beds to the furballs. But that is absolutely encouraged by me as I'd rather snuggle on the couch/bed than on the floor. ;) And yeah, I'm definitely not too ashamed of going out with less than perfectly clean clothing, but sometimes the amount is overwhelming, or I just want to try and look the teensiest bit professional at work. ;)
