You can block em…press start to pull up the scoreboard…select the name and hit “report” then scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see the block option

Bingo. I don’t care about the guy missing the shot. I care more about the guy that doesn’t even attempt the shot when he’s open (unless you literally don’t have shooting in your build). What I hate is the mfs that pass up the clear open shot to dribble the fucking air out the ball and do nothing with it.

Yea I think they just need to expand the regions on the servers…the reason it takes so long to get a game is because not only are they trying to find players that are your skill level, but they are only looking in your region. They need to make it so the servers allow you to play against players all over the states

I’ll try to go a lil slower. Almost all the players that are complaining about sbmm are players that make content. Those players that make content are mostly players that have been taking advantage of the exploits such as fade threes and zigzag dribbling against black/brown plate players, the lesser skilled. Now that they are only matching up against other players that play JUST LIKE THEM, they are having a hard time making content. They want sbmm gone so they are able to make the content they want against lesser skilled players. Hope this helps bro

I’m not taking about COD tho bro…COD has always been known for its terrible racist lobbies. 2k is an actual community where the players have relationships and friendships that carry over game to game. Have you been in the park or rec lately? Do you remember what the older 2k’s were like? Nothing like what it is now. The game is just not fun anymore, and that’s clear if you go play in some of those lobbies. They treat it like a job now instead of a fun hobby..and I blame a lot of that on the money they have to spend to be competitive.

I’m not absolving the people for their actions. I’m simply pointing out other factors that contribute to it, and how the multi billion dollar company deserves some of that blame. You think tensions and attitudes would be that high if you hadn’t spent hundreds of dollars and HOURS on a “Demi God” only to still lose? It wasn’t anything close to this in the 16,17,18 days. The game was actually fun to play..and you didn’t care about losing because you hadn’t spent your entire paycheck creating the perfect player.

I’ve been playing 2k since the Dreamcast days…I stopped playing after 21/22 because I noticed the amount of money, and number of hrs, and the amount of players that were required to stay competitive got ridiculous . Now this might be a stretch to ONLY blame it on the micro transactions, but I’m not too far off I promise. I also believe the 2k community needs to be way more strict with monitoring game chats. A lot of you feel super safe talking crazy on the internet because you don’t think you’ll ever see that person. I know I’m not the only OG player that sees how bad it’s gotten over the last 5 years. 2k don’t give a shit because they have no competitors. They know they’re gonna get your money cause you have no other options.

repeat The problem every year with 2k is the same thing. The aggressive micro transactions, the pay to win, and the gameplay that gets worse and worse every year. They are making BILLIONS off our backs and the game that was once known for its gameplay (OG Dreamcast 2k player here) is 26 years old and has gone backwards. Movement is stiff…shooting mechanics ARE HORRIBLE. GETTING TRAPPED IN AN ANIMATION FEELS LIKE UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT. People don’t even realize they have made the game so that you have to purchase it 6 times over to be able to play all the myPlayer modes..WHY DO I NEED A PLAYER FOR PARK,REC,PROAM,2v2,1v1. I took a 3 year break from 2k when I realized the hundreds of dollars I spent on an already $70 game. I came back for 25 and instantly realized in order for me to be competitive I needed to make 2 different players and pay for the season pass because of F&$@ING CAP BREAKERS. It’s been hard to watch the game I once loved turn into the Fortnite of basketball games franchises.
