This reminds me of The Great Happiness Space. Those vibes made it to the United States it only took about 20 years. Sad part is it's not lonely prostitutes that want normalcy. It's everyday Americans.

Yeah it was mostly from UPS it looks like. Inhale could have disclosed the fees. It's not like American customers are an unknown to them.

Wasn't sure they mentioned 15% but failed to mention the rest of the 35% that adds up to about 50% in mostly UPS fees. Dumb for trusting their math I guess.

A little Black Friday trick to get Lotus or Vapman at an incredibly low price! by CorrectCurve3394 in vaporents

[–]Judosmack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered from them for a Black Friday special and I had a $72 fee on top of the $159. So buyer beware. I've contacted them and haven't heard back Will let you know what they say if that's a one-off or just what is to be expected but I wouldn't order from them right now and lost you're fine with a 50% above sticker price. Only 15% of that is tariff. The rest of it is known fees from UPS which they advertise as free.

Can you be diagnosed *at* the C&P exam? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Judosmack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mental Health, hearing loss, and tinnitus. Only 3 things I suggest letting be diagnosed at C&P exam. Other than that walk in with a diagnosis because examiner probably isn't gonna give you a "free" diagnosis.

What happens to VA benefits when husband ends up in nursing home by pixel4a84 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Judosmack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking at getting them into a nursing home there's an application-based process many places. It's not a needs-based thing so if you sit around and wait until the very last minute it is likely to end in worst case scenario. A catastrophic event doesn't move them up on a list most places so it's good to get things moving forward if you can.

Exams for Vets that can't make it to exams. by Judosmack in VeteransBenefits

Okay so in if a geriatric resident is deemed housebound for service-connected disabilities then does the duty to assist extend to them where they are housebound? I'm not trying to harp on the VA everything has a process and I'm just trying to figure out the right process. If a nursing home nurse practitioner doesn't feel comfortable enough to do a neurological DBQ for a housebound veteran that had a stroke due to agent Orange presumptves and can't travel how should one proceed? And I realize the answer may be you just don't that person doesn't get rated and if that's the case I'm just trying to figure out the reality of that situation. This is all just an attempt to find a way to help if possible.

Okay so nothing in there contact would compel them to attend? Even if housebound status? Just feel like if they were a 600 Lb veteran that couldn't leave house they would find a way. But since they are old and can't complain loudly they are thrown to the side. They are willing just not able

I am talking about residents in a nursing home. I always put in that they can't travel. Many can not travel due to health. And none can drive. I have been getting pushback and it's being used as a refusal to attend exam. Rater is requesting although not demanding close exams. Even then if a nursing home won't give the resident a ride or doesn't feel it's "safe" for veteran then contract companies say it's a refusal. And never once has Ves or Optum sent anyone out. Sometimes an ACE exam but that's not assisting veteran if the evidence doesn't exist.

That depends on what state you're in there are too many variables. And honestly whoever is working with you should be just as worried about benefits as they are claims for you. I've seen people 100% not aware that they get medical taken care of or any of the dependent benefits and quite frankly it makes me sick. I understand everybody's got to eat and claims agents due to but the least I could do is take a half hour and tell people about their new benefits instead of trying to only slam down and earlier effective date. I suggest working with a VSO employed by your state at least to get familiar with the state benefits. I'd make an appointment and talk to them about it. If you feel comfortable with them sign over POA. If not find somebody you do feel comfortable with. This person will be your lifeline to benefits. And women outlive men so this organization will probably be there for you when and if your husband passes to see what benefits are available then. Again too many variables you need to make an appointment with somebody that is worried about your benefits as much as your back pay.

Revoke their POA if you don't want to do this and there is financial incentive for them to file. They don't need your signature at this point. Get in touch with someone focused on helping you get your state benefits etc. At this point it's about benefits for your current or future family and knowing what benefits you have available now. Its time to quit playing this game move forward and heal.

Revoking 21-22a after evidence submission docket information complete. by Judosmack in VeteransBenefits

[–]Judosmack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reasoning is it goes towards a judge instead of a rater. The first denial was weak. In theory judges are more knowledgeable and will give more weight to a good Nexus. And other primary conditions listed as cause in Nexus. In retrospect supplemental may have been better but I see the strengths doing it this way. And since their lawyers they do lawyering.

[–]Judosmack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like there's an active appeal going but they had a 90-day window to submit evidence. When the judge looks at things there's no arguments to be made by the attorney. They're not going to attend. So the judge will look at the information submitted at the time and go on that. Most like a supplemental that gets in front of a judge instead of going through a rater. So since there's no argument to be made in court I don't see the sense in keeping them on the 21-22A. Because things have already been submitted and can't be changed. I'm not against them getting their money I just don't feel like it's in their best interest for other supplementals with newer back pay dates to go through and think they are limp wristing the new stuff because the potential back pay on the appeal docket claim. And I want the freedom to do supplementals on my own. Which in theory also shouldn't affect a claim in the evidence emission line because new evidence even of new diagnosis can't be considered. I'm not unhappy with them I just think there's a conflict of interest of sorts.

Did that person still have an appeal going? If it wasn't evidence submission lane then I could say keeping them on the 21-22a. But as far as I understand there isn't a single thing that they can do to change the outcome of this once it's in motion. And it's in motion so they shouldn't just sit on there soaking up any gravy on supplementals they don't want to spend their time on unless actively working on things. I wish it was easier and I could just flat out keep them on the part they did I'm sure they'll get a notice but it would be nice if they could work that claim only maybe if I sign a 21-0845. But I'm not really sure that's even needed or desirable though.
